eStudy recognizes that its customers may have legitimate concerns about privacy. This privacy policy sets forth our practices regarding the collection and use of personal information, as well as the choices we offer regarding the use of this information. Personal information is information that personally identifies you, including, for example, your name, street address, and email address.

This policy addresses only the activities that originate from our servers. Other sites (including those that we may link to) may have their own policies. We have no control over the activities of others and those activities are not addressed by this policy.



Policy

You provide certain personal information to us when you: (a) register with eStudy; (b) update profile information, (c) send email messages or participate in a discussion forum, (d) send information to us or submit forms; or (e) purchase goods and services through eStudy. At other points on our site, we may collect additional personal information from you. We use a feature of browsers called a "cookie" to assign a Customer ID that automatically identifies your computer when you visit our site. This allows us to maintain the continuity of each customer session.

We use personal information to (a) provide access to products or services that you purchase; (b) verify your identity; (c) anticipate and resolve problems with our service; (d) personalize your service; (e) collect payment for products and services sold to you; and (f) to develop and market products and services that may be of interest to you. We DO NOT share your personal information with any third parties.

However, the government may legally force us to disclose information under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that your personal information or private communications will remain private despite our best efforts to maintain the privacy of your personal information and private communications. As a registered eStudy customer, you can modify your personal information by logging on to eStudy as a registered user and clicking on "My Profile." We also allow you to opt-out of receiving any non-essential correspondence or information from us.

You can also delete all personal information and your registration as a customer by sending an e-mail to privacy@estudy.net.





Security

The eStudy Website has security measures that protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control. eStudy requires a username and password combination to access all of the products and services that are facilitated by eStudy, or to communicate with other eStudy customers.

Customer information is stored in a secured database accessible only to eStudy personnel. eStudy uses all reasonable efforts to comply with FERPA guidelines concerning protection of any student information.

eStudy has been designed to allow users to view only the information that they have been permitted to access.

eStudy constantly monitors its systems for unauthorized use.

We use industry-standard efforts such as firewalls and secure socket layers where appropriate, to safeguard the confidentiality of your Personal Information. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.



Public Forums

This site makes personal chat communication and discussion boards available to registered users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information through a public forum.



Affiliates

eStudy is a private corporation. The company has received no financial assistance from suppliers, distributors, resellers, information vendors, or other entities that might present a potential conflict in choice or objectivity, or have access to confidential personal information.



Updates

Please check this page for continuous updates. When we change our privacy policy, we will post the changes here so you are always aware of the information that we collect and how we use it. We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying anyone who attempts to use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to release information about users who we believe are in violation of our policies. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we suspect may be unlawful.
